Description:
The Deerfield River flows through Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts and goes over Salmon Falls. Below the falls are a large number of geological features called glacial potholes. They are supposedly formed by the glaciers that covered much of North America. Stones swirled around and carved out holes of various sizes, some of them quite large, in the bedrock over which the river flowed. I have a good number of photos of the potholes, many of which I will post as puzzles.
