Description:
From a photo that I took myself on my travels, recreated here in a mock painting style. Pratt's Castle. Located along the Fox river in Elgin Illinois. Built by medieval history buff Harold S. Pratt in 1937. It was modeled on a castle he saw along the Rhine River while serving in World War I, and served as a private museum for Pratt's personal collection of medieval artifacts. The tower is 50 foot tall and is surrounded by a mini-moat and a working draw bridge.
