Description:
This is a voxel-based artwork focussing on a London cabmen's shelter. It's a real place on the corner of Russell Square in Bloomsbury. Shelters were set up to feed the drivers of hackney carriages in 1875, and now thirteen of them remain as listed buildings. You can buy your lunch at the window of this one, 'the Little Green Hut'. I am a voxel artist and I created this scene out of a deep fondness for London heritage. I hope you like it.
